Concept Art 1
Concept Art 2
These initial sketches were created for an alien sci-fi themed environment, inspired by Afrofuturism and influenced by Robo Alien. I aimed for a minimalist futuristic style to represent alien technology. Concept Art 1 explores the furniture design, while Concept Art 2 places these designs within a room to test their functionality and cohesiveness. The order from oldest to newest; Concept Art 1 and Concept Art 2.

This overview demonstrates the geometry, textures, and 2D-to-3D implementation through the Models Video Preview, Base Model w/ Base Wireframe, and Wireframe w/o Base Model. My design philosophy emphasized functional abstraction, creating furniture that can interlock. I selected neutral colors to convey soulless robotism, with yellow representing optimism. Showing the models with and without support highlights the impact of the yellow hue. The base design is universal, cohesive, and distinct, with the yellow symbolizing its importance. The focus was on practicality rather than the abstract nature of the sketches. The order from oldest to newest; Cool Chair (w and w/o Support), Couch (w and w/o Support), Chair (w and w/o Support), Desk (w and w/o Support), Wall, Floor, and Support.

I wanted to showcase the furniture from different angles within a room, using yellow walls for distinction and cohesion with the base. The wall holes add a sci-fi aesthetic. I'm satisfied with the render, as the designs align seamlessly with the game's overall aesthetic. The order from oldest to newest; Render 1, Render 2, Render 3, Render 4, and Render 5.
