Brainstorm 1
Brainstorm 2
Brainstorm 3
Brainstorm 4
Brainstorm 5
Brainstorm 6
This character design started as a class assignment to create a character with only legs and no limbs. Brainstorms 1 and 2 focused on horror themes, while 3 and 4 explored clattering teeth and claws. I ultimately chose a mechanical approach, which evolved into a rock monster design for a game in Brainstorm 5. Brainstorm 6 was a toy-style redesign, inspired by my professor’s suggestion to make the character cuter and more approachable. The order from oldest to newest; Brainstorm 1, Brainstorm 2, Brainstorm 3, Brainstorm 4, Brainstorm 5, and Brainstorm 6.
Final Character Design Concept Art
The final character design is a mad scientist who lost his limbs in a failed experiment explosion, adding depth to his backstory. This history shapes his appearance and motivations, making him a more compelling character for the game.

These visualizations showcase the model's progression from basic form to final rigged version, highlighting key design and technical details.
Character Design Model Expressions
Expression 1
Expression 2
Expression 3
These expressions capture the character’s personality: Expression 1 shows happiness, Expression 2 shows shock from dropping the beaker, and Expression 3 shows curiosity upon discovering it. I'm pleased with the design, as it pushed me to experiment with colors and textures to highlight the character's quirky, dynamic nature. The order from oldest to newest; Expression 1, Expression 2, and Expression 3.
