Track Facial Expressions Sketches
This design is for the main character of Swerve Hurdle. I studied reference photos of sprinters in various positions to understand their movements, like starts, relays, and hurdle jumps, as well as their facial expressions. This research helped me create a dynamic, realistic pose that emphasizes agility and speed. Character Design Model Drafts
Sprinter
Jumper
Distance Runner
These character designs expand the original concept with variants like a Sprinter, Jumper, and Distance Runner. I aimed for an abstract, minimalistic style, differentiating them through physiques, proportions, colors, and shapes. Sprinter, with angular cone shapes and bold red, represents power and speed. Jumper, using a mix of angular and round cube shapes, symbolizes energy and vitality. Distance Runner, with spherical shapes, embodies calmness and endurance, reflecting a slim physique and graceful strides. The order from oldest to newest; Sprinter, Jumper, and Distance Runner.
